Topic: Christmas Gifts??

Hiya everyone!!

Can anyone recommend something that my 4 year old son and I can make for gifts this Christmas??  It'll be just for his Grandad and Aunties, Uncles etc. to go alongside their presents.

Just wanted to do something a bit more personal this year, and my son loves to help in the kitchen.

Any ideas welcome!!

Love Di x

Re: Christmas Gifts??

Why not do rice crispy cakes but press the mixture into a square cake tin then use star cutters to cut out stars and decorate with sugar sprinkles. Or make shortbread  ype biscuits baked on lollypop sticks and decorate them with ready rolled icing to look like snowmen faces. Have fun,

Food gifting is wonderful fun!  Why not get ahead and make chutney and mincemeat for festive gifts.  If you want to make gifts nearer the time you could have great fun making and decorating Cookies, Fairy Cakes Gingerbread House or Ready to Bake Shortbread.

Have fun!

Thanks, the Shortbread on sticks sounds good, as does the Gingerbread house!!  I'll be trying  a few of these suggestions!! x

Re: Christmas Gifts??

My daughter has just been making cheese straws at school.  These are very tasty.  Ideal for the nibbles table at christmas.  She has also made some shortbread.  Last year she bought a biscuit barrel from Tesco for £1.50 and made some shortbread shapes and put them in the barrel and gave them as a present.  This year its going to be the cheese straws
