Personally I'd go with the kitchen aid every time
Sorry, I'd have to disagree as I LOVE my Kenwood Chef sooooooo much!!! lol!!!! xxx But I've never had a Kitchen Aid to compare xx
I recently brought a Kenwood chef on amazon! Some amazing deals out there and m totally in love with it. Kenwood every time. X
I am very happy with my Kenwood KMix which I bought online at a very competitive price. Made in the UK too.
I look longingly at these in the online catalogues ... wish i could afford one!!
for sheer 'look what ive got' show off in me id go for the ktichenaid ![]()
but for practicality id go for a kenwood, just for the attachments you can add.
I have had a KITCHEN AID mixer for about 15yrs now, couldn,t do without it, by the way sue1967 there are lots of attachments you can get for this mixer, graters, slicers, mincers, juicers, the list goes on and on! they are more expensive these days I must admit, mine was approx 200pnds , they had not been on he market very long, and must admit obtained mine from a friend who worked for the company that made them,so had a good discount, had 2 kenwoods and not lasted no where near as long as my trusted Kitchen Aid.
MISS CUPCAKE 1
I have recently followed a similar post on another site.
What I want to add is that the two Ks are not the only stand mixers out on the market. Earlier this year I bought a Severin 3888 German made mixer and am most impressed with this machine. It is a good solid (all metal body) mixer similar in looks to the older Kenwoods. It comes with a two year guarantee, has many features that makes it easy to clean and maintain and it does a good job as a mixer.
My point is that you should search the market for a machine to suit you, both in operation and price. I believe the two Ks are relying on their names to carry their sales and I certainly do not regret my choice.
If you want a lead on this mixer, go to Marketeer (London) who are the importers.

I absolutely LOVE the KitchenAid BUT my hubby got me a Kenwood Chef Premier for xmas and WOW I am sooooooo glad he did. Amazing machine and a much better spec than the Kitchen Aid. The Kitchen Aid looks pretty but isnt as good a mixer as the Kenwood ranges.

I also prefer Kenwood, and I think it is the right choice.
I think most of the people prefer Kenwood in this thread.

I prefer Kenwood. At 66 years of age I have never been let down by any of their products. I have had a food processor for years but recently bought the Kenwood Chef which I absolutely love. I live quite near to the Kenwood factory & went to their shop. I was amazed at the attachments that are available for it-you name it-they've got it. The best price when I bought mine was Amazon ![]()
