Dorchester Cheese Biscuits Ingredients

110 grams Mature Cheddar grated
110 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
110 grams Butter
1 pinch Mustard Powder
50 grams Pecan Nuts chopped

How to make Dorchester Cheese Biscuits

  1. Set the oven to 190°C/ 170°C fan/ Mark 5 method tip
  2. Place the flour and butter into a bowl, rub the butter into the flour to make fine crumbs, then stir in the Cheddar and mustard powder and bring the dough together with your hands to make a soft dough
  3. Place heaped teaspoonfuls on a baking tray, spaced a little apart so that the biscuits can spread. Place a pecan on each one and bake for 12-15 minutes until pale gold. Allow to cool for 10minutes on the tray then allow to cool on a wire rack
