Jelly Bean Biscuits Ingredients

125 grams Softened Butter
75 grams Golden Caster Sugar (Billington's) Golden Caster Sugar (Billington's)
25 grams Chopped Nuts
75 grams Jelly Beans
125 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)

  1. Place the butter and sugar in a medium bowl and beat using a wooden spoon until pale and fluffy. Stand the bowl on a damp cloth to steady it. Stir in the nuts and jelly beans. method tip
  2. Add the flour and mix to form a soft dough. Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto greased baking sheets, about 6 per sheet.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C, 375°F, gas mark 5 for about 10 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets for 5min, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. method tip

"These sounded lovely, but, maybe I got my measurements wrong, but they are just too greasy. They are lovely & crumbly, but just not quite right-disappointing."
