Tiramisu Cupcakes Ingredients

200 grams Unsalted Butter
3 Free Range Eggs Free Range Eggs
200 grams Golden Caster Sugar (Billington's) Golden Caster Sugar (Billington's)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Nielsen Massey) Vanilla Extract (Nielsen Massey)
200 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
0.50 tsp Baking Powder
100 grams Cappuccino Milk Chocolate Drops (Silver Spoon Create) Cappuccino Milk Chocolate Drops (Silver Spoon Create)

Additional Ingredients

500 grams Mascarpone Cheese
250 grams Golden Icing Sugar (Billington's) Golden Icing Sugar (Billington's)
2 tbsp Marsala (optional)
 

Further Additional Ingredients

Cappuccino Milk Chocolate Drops (Silver Spoon Create) handful, roughly chopped
Cocoa Powder to dust

How to make Tiramisu Cupcakes

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / Gas 4 and line a muffin tin with cupcake cases. method tip
  2. Beat the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth. method tip
  3. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture and fold in. method tip
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed
  5. Divide the mixture between the cases, then bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool on a wire rack. method tip
  6. To make the frosting whisk the mascarpone and icing sugar then add the marsala. Pipe this onto the cooled cupcakes.
  7. Decorate with the chopped chocolate chips then lightly dust with cocoa powder.
