Cajun Spiced Corn Bread Ingredients

375 grams Very Strong Wholemeal Bread Flour (Allinson) Very Strong Wholemeal Bread Flour (Allinson)
100 grams Cornmeal
3 tsp Cajun Spice
1.50 tsp Salt
1.25 grams Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
2 tbsp Runny Honey
4 tbsp Olive Oil
225 ml Warm Water Warmed

How to make Cajun Spiced Corn Bread

  1. Put the flour, cornmeal, spice, salt and yeast into a bowl. method tip
  2. Mix to a soft dough with the honey, oil and water.
  3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. method tip
  4. Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin. method tip
  5. Leave to prove until double in size. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 220°C/fan 210°C/gas mark 7 method tip
  6. Bake in an oven and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 190°C/gas mark 6.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes. method tip
