280 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
200 grams Butter firm, diced
100 grams Icing Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown) Icing Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown)
2 Happy Eggs yolks Happy Eggs

250 grams Fondant Icing (Silver Spoon) Fondant Icing (Silver Spoon)
45 ml Warm Water
Fairy Sprinkles (Silver Spoon Create) to decorate Fairy Sprinkles (Silver Spoon Create)
 

Further Additional Ingredients

20 pinch lolly sticks

How to make Biscuit Fairy Wands

  1. Set the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas6
  2. Place the flour and butter in a bowl and rub together with your hands until it makes crumbs. method tip
  3. Stir in the icing sugar then add the egg yolks and start squeezing the mixture together until it all binds to a dough
  4. Roll out on a lightly floured worksurface and cut into about 20 stars about 8-9 cm across at widest point
  5. Place on a baking sheet and carefully push a lolly pop stick through the thickness of the dough Bake for 6-8 mins until just turning golden brown at the edges.
  6. Allow to cool then ice the biscuits with glace or fondant icing and sugar sprinkles
