Low Fat Scotch Pancakes with Glazed Oranges Ingredients

110 grams Self Raising White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Self Raising White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
Salt
1 tsp Half Spoon Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon) Half Spoon Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon)
150 ml Milk Skimmed Milk

3 tbsp Water
1 Orange Sliced & halved

How to make Low Fat Scotch Pancakes with Glazed Oranges

  1. In a mixing bowl sift the flour with the salt and sweetener. method tip
  2. Gradually mix in the milk to form a thick batter. method tip
  3. Lightly spray a non stick pan with oil spray. Pre heat until hot. method tip
  4. Drop small amounts of mixture into the pan. Cook over a moderate heat until bubbles show on the surface.
  5. Carefully turn over and cook on the other side for a further 2 minutes.
  6. Repeat until all the mixture is used. Keep pancakes warm in a folded tea towel.
  7. Place the sugar and water in a medium sized pan and heat until the sugar has dissolved, then add the orange slices
  8. Simmer gently until the oranges are soft and the liquid has reduced to a light syrup.
  9. Serve immediately.
