Ham & Sweetcorn Wholemeal Pizza Ingredients

200 grams Very Strong Wholemeal Bread Flour (Allinson) Very Strong Wholemeal Bread Flour (Allinson)
1.50 tsp Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
1 tsp Mixed Fresh Herbs chopped
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 tbsp ready made pizza topping
90 grams Sweetcorn canned, drained
2 Ham slices
85 grams Cheddar Cheese grated

How to make Ham & Sweetcorn Wholemeal Pizza

  1. Put the flour, yeast, dried mixed herbs and salt in a large bowl and mix together. Stir in the olive oil and 100ml (3½fl oz) – 125ml (4fl oz) luke warm water, mix together adding more luke warm water if needed to form a soft dough. method tip
  2. Turn out the dough onto a well floured surface and knead for approximately 3-4 minutes until the dough is quite smooth. Roll out the dough to a 30cm (12in) circle and place on a lightly floured baking sheet and cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes until slightly risen. method tip
  3. Preheat the oven to 220°C, 200°C fan, Gas 7. Spread the pizza topping on the pizza base, leaving about 1cm around the edge. Spread out evenly over the base the pepper, sweet corn and ham and finish with the grated Cheddar cheese. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and the pizza is cooked. method tip
