Savoury Pesto Mozzarella Pinwheels Ingredients

650 grams Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
15 grams Hard White Vegetable Fat
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
400 ml Warm Water warm
15 ml Pesto
50 grams Mozzarella Cheese grated

How to make Savoury Pesto Mozzarella Pinwheels

  1. Place the flour, salt, sugar, lard, yeast and water into a mixer with a dough hook.
  2. Mix into a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand knead for a further 5 minutes. method tip
  4. Roll out to a 30x23 cm (12x9 in) rectangle, spread over the Pesto and sprinkle on the cheese, roll up and seal.
  5. Cut into 12 equal slices, place onto a greased baking tray, and prove until double in size. reheat the ovent to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 method tip
  6. Bake for 25 minutes. method tip
