Method Place the blackberries, water and lemon juice in a preserving pan, bring to the boil. Add the apple pectin then simmer and a low heat for 20 minutes. Tip the mixture into a jelly bag and leave to drip overnight. Add the water or enough water to make two pints of liquid mixture. Place back in the preserving pan with the sugar and heat over a low heat until all the sugar has dissolved, approximately 10-15 minutes.
