About the bake

Level up your standard buttercream by giving it a citrus twist. We show you how to work in juice from oranges, lemons or limes. A Citrus Buttercream makes a really good topping for loaf cakes, cupcakes and even as a filling for a sponge cake.     1. Step 1

      Beat the butter and sugar together until smooth, then add the vanilla extract.

    2. Step 2

      Mix in the orange/lemon/lime juice depending on your taste preference.

      • 1Orange, lemon or lime (juice only) 
      • 200gSilver Spoon Icing Sugar 
      • 1 tspNielsen-Massey Vanilla Extract
