About the bake

Simple but delicious flavours, this feta and tomato loaf is a great addition to any picnic or side dish at a dinner party. The sweet, ripe tomatoes perfectly balances the creamy feta cheese.

The great thing about this loaf is that it requires no kneading or proving, just mix in the ingredients and bake. 50 minutes later you'll have a fragrant loaf, which will be a showshopping hit with your family and friends.

What is a quick bread?

The beauty of this bake is that there's no rising time, as we don't include yeast in our ingredients for this yummy bake. We say less time proving, more time eating.

Do you know if this recipe would be OK to use with bread flour instead of Plain?

    Baking Mad

Yes you could use bread flour for this recipe. Bread flour has a higher protein/gluten content than plain flour but in this instance should work ok.

Good flavor; absolutely crumbled and fell apart. More like frittata than bread.
