Melt in the Middle Chocolate Puddings
About the bake
Decadent Melt in the Middle Chocolate Puddings made on the barbecue! Yes that's right, you can bake these little puddings outside on a gas grill. You'll have to be a little careful balancing the ramekins on the grill and you should keep the lid on so that they cook evenly. Fancy a biscoff version? Add 1 tbsp Biscoff spread to each filled ramekin just before baking making sure you gently push down so the spread is covered. Once baked sprinkle with broken Biscoff biscuits (only 2 biscuits will be needed). YUM!
Method
Step 1
Heat the BBQ until hot, if you have a BBQ with a lid turn off the middle burner just before the puddings go in and keep the lid closed.
Step 2
Butter 6 medium ramekins. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over simmering water.
Step 3
Beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then fold in the sieved flour. Add the melted chocolate and fold in until well combined.
Step 4
Divide between the ramekins and place them on a baking tray. Bake in the BBQ for approximately 20 minutes keeping the lid closed. The puddings will rise and form a firm crust but should still be slightly runny in the middle. Serve with cream.
